The BC Lake Stewardship Society (BCLSS) is a registered non-profit society (S-37467) dedicated to the preservation and protection of British Columbia's lakes. The BCLSS is an affiliate of the North American Lake Management Society and its membership is open to all lakeshore residents, environmental professionals, and those with a more general appreciation of lakes.

Mission

The BCLSS mission is to act as a resource, communication, and information network among scientists, environmental professionals, lakeshore residents, the general public, First Nations, and government agencies in order to preserve, protect, and restore lakes in British Columbia.

Vision

Clean, healthy lakes throughout British Columbia that provide good drinking water and quality habitat for aquatic life, wildlife, and people.
