The International Symposium for the North American Lake Management Society (NALMS) was held November 11-14, 2008 in Lake Louise.

The theme of the Symposium was "Lake Management in a Changing Environment".

It dealt with the management of our lakes when faced with unprecedented developmental pressures, climate change and water scarcity.

The BCLSS staff, President, Vice-President and 2 of our regional directors attended the conference.  BCLSS staff presented on the Society and our programs.
