The purposes of the society are:
- To research and cooperatively plan guidelines that will insure the care and protection of Slocan Lake and its foreshore; and
- To support and initiate projects and programs for sustainable lake use;
- To facilitate education regarding Slocan Lake and its environs.
Our first project will be to conduct a Baseline Study of Slocan Lake.
