Mandate: to improve and protect the quality of the lake, water, heath and the natural environment around the lake feeding streams. The pine beetle epidemic has been one of our recent concerns.

Projects: Forest fires in the province and around our areas have encouraged our community to set up fire breaks around the lake to protect our homes and properties and more work needs to be done to protect our fish and birds (loons, etc) on our lakes.

We monitor our lake residents concerning protection of the lake, weed control, water testing etc. We try to emphasize lake stewardship among lake shore residents and visitors to our beautiful lake.
