BCLSS Shoreline Cleanup at Buntzen Lake

On Friday, September 21st, the BCLSS held a shoreline cleanup at Buntzen Lake in Anmore as part of the Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup. There were seven participants and we collected approximately 10 lbs of litter, most of it being small pieces of plastic. Overall the shoreline was very clean!

The Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup is a national conservation program that provides Canadians the opportunity to take action in their communities wherever water meets land, one bit of trash at a time. If you would like to join or lead a cleanup in your area, visit their website to register.
