In Recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

In Recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

On this first National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, the BCLSS will be taking time to reflect on the atrocities committed at Residential Schools and the ongoing injustices Indigenous Peoples across the country are experiencing. We encourage our members to take some time to read or listen to the testimony of survivors, donate to Indigenous organizations, reflect on what you can personally do to address the Calls to Action, and take steps to advance equity. We are committed to safeguarding water and learning from the abundant knowledge of this lands original stewards in our lake conservation efforts.
