Register for the BCLSS Annual Conference – Understanding BC Lakes in Changing Times

Oceola Fish and Game Club, Winfield BC

Our lakes are facing a variety of pressures, including climate extremes. This conference will bring together a network of those concerned about lake health to address these challenges and discuss what can be done to preserve, protect, and restore BC lakes.

Friday, October 4th 7pm – 9pm: Join us for an informal social at the Oceola Fish and Game Club. Light refreshments provided.
Saturday, October 5th Breakfast & registration begin at 7:45 am: Join us for a day of presentations and networking. All meals provided. After dinner, keynote speaker Dr. Ken Ashley will present Effects of Climate Change on Lakes and Fisheries – Stormy Waters Ahead.
Sunday, October 6th 8 am – 12 pm: Join us for breakfast at the venue and then carpool on a field trip to Aspen Grove Golf Club in Lake Country which has been converted to school sports fields and a community park. Tour the ponds, fields, riparian area, turtle nesting, and the restored creek channel. Lunch provided.

Weekend and Saturday only registration options. All meals included!

Weekend package: $75 members, $90 non-members. Saturday only package: $50 members, $65 non-members.

Early bird pricing ends September 27th, prices increase by $20.

Camping is available in the venue parking lot and rooms have been blocked off at the Super 8 Lake Country at a discounted rate until the end of September.

    I need to book a motel for Friday and Saturday. Can you supply me with a motel where other participants are staying. I understand that some reimbursement is available. How does this work? Please reply by email, see below.
